We recommend creating a new key pair within the OpenStack dashboard rather than importing an existing key pair. To create a new key pairː

1. Click on Access & Security from the left menu.
2. Select the Key Pairs tab.
3. Click on ; the Create Key Pair window is displayed.
4. Give your key pair a name.
5. Click Create Key Pair button.
6. Save the <key name>.pem file on your local drive.
